Marketing communications covers a broad range of skills and the current opening is no different in its requirements. Working closely with the other members of the marketing department, the Marketing Communications Specialists will assist in internal and external marketing goals. Self-motivated, quick-to-learn individuals with strong verbal and written communication skills are a must for this position. Because of the relatively small size of the department, the ability to perform across multiple marketing platforms is critical for success.

Primary Responsibilites

• Create monthly and quarterly communication messages from start to finish – requires writing, HTML, and some graphic design skills
• Create and maintain company blog
• Assist in the development and maintenance of company intranet – some html and graphic design skills needed
• Maintain company literature using Adobe InDesign while adhering to brand standards – writing ability a must
• Work with sales and engineering department to improve existing documents
• Maintain understanding of changing communication techniques and assist in developing new communication strategies with marketing team
• Assist with ad copywriting as needed

Knowledge and Skill Responsibilites

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, English, journalism, technical writing or a related field

• Good knowledge of the punching process, able to select proper die clearances based on material requirements
